"Gidget"
Gidget is very sweet and is completely devoted to her "mother". Her favorite hobby is chasing "vermon" in the yard.
Gidget started her career in Canada with two H.I.T.s the very first day with a 198.5 and a 200! Her third leg was also a first but she lost H.I.T. by half a point to "Mazzi". She also earned a Dog World Award.
In the US Gidget earned 7 first places. Again she won a Dog World Award. She got 2 H.I.T.s. One an all breed trial with over 220 dogs entered with what the judge says was the highest score she'd ever given -- a 199.5 and the other the Papillon National Specialty under Pat Krause with a 198.5.
In Open Gidget had a great start with a 199.0 and H.I.T. out of Open B. Her second leg was the same a 199.0 and H.I.T. at the Papillon National Specialty making her the first dog in history to win back to back H.I.T.s at the National Specialty! Her third leg was very nice--giving her another Dog World Award but this time brother "Mazzi" took the class and the H.I.T. **2001 National Specialty Gidget received another perfect 200 score making her the only dog in history to win three High in Trials in a row at Papillon National Specialty and the only one to get a 200.
Gidget now got her Utility title with 2 mid 190's scores and a 199 under Linda MacDonald over 39 Ut. B dogs. Gidget is now an OTCH and has over 40 HIT. She took a year off after getting her OTCH then showed until she turned 12. Gidget had many many scores of 199 or better. She won many large classes and got most of her OTCH points from showing exclusively in the Utility class.
Gidget is the #4 OTCH pointed toy dog of all time!
In 2010 we lost our precious Gidget. We will always miss her. She was the best!
